Want to learn how to incorporate some of the new spring trends into your work wardrobe? I know sometimes it is hard to translate the runway styles into “realway” outfits. Many of my clients struggle with it and end up calling me for help. I like figuring out ways to make new fashion trends appropriate for the office and beyond. It is so much fun! And it is time you had fun with it, too. Let’s take a look at the following spring trends and make them work for you.
Off-the-shoulder blouses: Love, love, love this look! This style blouse is a great day-to-evening option. You can wear the blouse under a blazer paired with a skirt or pant. Lose the jacket for a night out with friends or your main man. It is also an easy way to incorporate this season’s on-trend color or simply add a pop of color to your overall wardrobe. Soft suede: I definitely want to incorporate some suede into my wardrobe this season. An unstructured style jacket in a caramel or neutral color is the perfect addition to any wardrobe. It can be worn to work or on the weekends. The choice is yours. Get the look, here: https://www.pinterest.com/MargaretBatting/soft-suede-for-the-office/
Cut out patterns: This trend can be seen everywhere from dresses to totes. Cut out patterns are big this season. For work, I’d try a three quarter length topper over a dress or column of color. It’s definitely a statement look. Take a peek at this cut out trend and where you can buy it, here: https://www.pinterest.com/MargaretBatting/cut-out-styles-for-the-office/
Soft denim: If you work in a business casual environment then incorporating soft denim into your wardrobe should be a breeze. Try a chambray shirt paired with a bright colored, textured skirt or keep it simple with a belted denim shirtdress. Both looks are polished AND comfortable.
